WSU’s Center for Cannabis Policy, Research and Outreach (CCPRO) is proud to announce the first annual WSU Cannabis Symposium, to be held on May 14^th in the CUB Jr. Ballroom on the Pullman Campus. WSU Faculty, staff, students and friends interested in cannabis research broadly speaking are all invited to attend. Key speakers will be the Board Chair, the Executive Director and the Research Program Director of Washington State’s Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB), as well as a regional representative of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and four WSU faculty who are actively engaged in cannabis research. The focus of the Symposium will be to provide WSU researchers information on how they can best be engaged in cannabis research efforts within the legal framework of Washington State and to start to build stronger collaborative efforts within WSU and with external stakeholders and partners.

The Symposium will start at 10 am and end with a collaboration discussion later in the afternoon, with closing of the Symposium planned for 4:30 pm
