| *The Bustad Lecture is in honor of a prominent figure in veterinary medicine for decades, who was dean of the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in the 1970s. He was elected to the Institute of Medicine because of his success as a scientist, particularly in translational research. He was a champion of entrepreneurship, comparative biomedicine, and what would now be known as One Health. |
