The Office of Research Advancement and Partnerships (ORAP) provides several resources for researchers to access internal and external funding opportunities.
Internal award programs that support research, scholarship, and creative activity for faculty are available throughout the year. While there may be other internal opportunities at the college level, there are a few opportunities highlighted on the ORAP website.
When seeking external funding, researchers have access to the Academic Analytics and the Pivot RP databases. Faculty can leverage these resources and identify potential funding opportunities that align with their research interests and objectives. These databases cover a wide range of funding sources, including government agencies, private foundations, and industry sponsors. Faculty can also request to work one on one with a proposal development specialist.
ORAP manages external funding agencies with Limited Submissions by facilitating the selection process.
