Community Health Analytics Initiative

Vision & Goals

• To advance the state-of the art in community and population healthcare as well as in healthy living (e.g. study of AMR in rural communities)
• To promote and embrace information/technology-based healthcare research such as biomedical informatics, smart and healthy living, sensor networks, or internet of things for healthcare
• To support a new interdisciplinary PhD concentration in Health Analytics
• To establish CHAI as a university research institute (focal point, center of gravity, sense of identity)
• To expand analytics-based research on campus—biotechnology, business, other social and physical sciences
