CAREER Proposal Development Course

February 15, 2017 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

The Office of Research Advancement and Partnerships (ORAP) is beginning enrollment into its eight week proposal development program for NSF CAREER proposals. We offer this to all faculty at all locations and it is FREE! This course is not open to postdoctoral fellows or graduate students. The course will meet every Wednesday, starting on February 15th at 11:30am in Lighty 280.

Contact Emily Brashear (emily.brashear@wsu.edu) for a synopsis of the program and a registration form. Enrollment is limited, so please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your spot in the course. The program is relatively intense. It is designed to not only assist you with developing a stellar CAREER proposal, but also to provide you with grantsmanship skills applicable to other grant mechanisms.

We’ve expanded the scope of the program since last year, so it will still be of value to those who participated in the past. There will be even more focus on how to distinguish your proposal from the myriad of other proposals that reviewers will see. There will also be more emphasis on integrating the scientific merit with broader impacts, and writing these components will be done simultaneously with guidance from the ORAP group. Accordingly, we believe you will find additional value and we encourage you to enroll.

Skype for Business is available for those interested in attending from locations outside of Pullman.
