WSU researchers are leading innovative AI efforts in healthcare, agriculture, cybersecurity, engineering, and the sciences. As the university expands its AI research enterprise, it is building capacity and strengthening partnerships across the Pacific Northwest and beyond to address society’s most pressing challenges through AI-driven innovation.

To help shape the future of AI research at WSU, the Office of Research has convened a working group led by Dr. Ananth Kalyanaraman (School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science). The group brings together AI experts from across disciplines, colleges, and campuses throughout the WSU system.
