Community Engaged Research – Working with Government Relations

Meet with WSU’s Vice President for External Affairs and Government Relations and Senior Director of State Relations to discuss interactions with elected officials. Learn how and when to consult with the Government Relations staff.  Understand how communication in advance of engagement can help to ensure you are sending a coordinated message from our institution, provide for a more organized legislative outcome, and determine appropriate and legal ways to communicate with public officials and external stakeholders on political issues.
