Introduction and ordering guidelines

Welcome to the Vivarium Supply Request Form. This form is used to request vivarium caging, equipment and related supplies needed to support your research and animal care activities. To ensure timely processing and delivery, please review the following guidelines before submitting your request.

Advance notice required

All orders must be submitted with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Business hours

Orders are processed Monday-Friday only.

Weekend requests

Orders submitted on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are not processed during that time. We will make every effort to fulfill weekend orders on Monday, but may require additional time if materials are unavailable. In some cases, orders may not be filled until Tuesday.

University holidays

Orders are not processed on university holidays. Please plan ahead and provide sufficient advance notice for supply orders to be filled prior to the holiday.

Emergency supply requests

Emergency requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis and intended for situations that may impact animal welfare or critical research activities. Please clearly indicate that your request is an emergency and provide justification. While we will make every effort to accommodate urgent needs, availability of materials and staffing may limit response time.

Order accuracy

Please ensure all requested items, quantities, and delivery details are complete and accurate to help avoid delays. If an error is found, please contact us as soon as possible.
