Principal investigators and appropriate administrators must also review and approve proposals. Pullman OR staff, or the OR Grant Management staff for the Spokane campus will submit your proposal to the funding agency or, if needed, return it to you for revisions. <strong>Additionally, please see the Proposal Review, Processing&nbsp;and Submission <u><a href=\"https:\/\/research.wsu.edu\/operations\/documents\/2018\/02\/guideline-1.pdf\/\">Guideline #1<\/a><\/u>&nbsp; for more assistance.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Submit a Proposal to OR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Send your proposal to OR using the<u><a href=\"http:\/\/myresearch.wsu.edu\/grants\/erex.aspx#\/list\"> eREX proposal submission form<\/a><\/u><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click here to see a list of department contacts and other approvers on the eREX Form: <u><a href=\"https:\/\/myresearch.wsu.edu\/Grants\/DepartmentContacts\">Electronic department contact list<\/a><\/u><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>eREX Narrative Hold Program information: <u><a href=\"https:\/\/research.wsu.edu\/operations\/documents\/2018\/06\/narrative-hold-information.pdf\">Narrative Hold P<\/a><\/u>olicy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to Include in a Proposal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Completed copy of the proposal\/application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WSU certified budget<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link to, or PDF attachment of, the funding opportunity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If shipping via courier, include a <u><a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/80-00-services\/80-15-shipping-services\/\">Request for Shipment of Merchandise form<\/a><\/u> submitted through <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/forms\/eforms\/\">E-Forms<\/a> and the required number of proposals to be shipped. Deliver these materials to OR near the time of your eREX submission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Route and obtain approvals on eREX forms at least 5 business days prior to the sponsor\u2019s proposal submission deadline.&nbsp; Work with your department\/college administrators, and those of your collaborators, regarding their respective internal deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If OR receives an approved eREX form more than 5 days prior to the deadline:<\/strong> <br>OR will provide a detailed review of the proposal and submit it on behalf of WSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If a proposal is not approved, or is approved 5 days or less before the proposal deadline:<\/strong> <br>OR cannot guarantee timely submission to the sponsor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please read proposal instructions from the sponsor very carefully.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Support and Operations team must review proposals developed for external agencies.
