Programming varies from year to year, but usually at least one workshop will be held each semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fall 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/research.wsu.edu\/advancement\/training\/workshops\/nsf-career\/\">Pathway to CAREER: From Vision to Submission<\/a><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This multi-session training program will prepare faculty to submit an NSF CAREER proposal, from project development, to proposal preparation, to submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop series will take place <strong>October 1 \u2013 29, 2025<\/strong>. Interested Faculty members can <a href=\"https:\/\/research.wsu.edu\/advancement\/training\/workshops\/nsf-career\/application\/\">apply online<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spring 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/research.wsu.edu\/advancement\/training\/workshops\/fundamentals-of-grant-writing-across-disciplines\/\">Fundamentals of Grant Writing Across Disciplines<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fundamentals of Grant Writing Across Disciplines Series consists of five weekly sessions that provide grant-writing tools for faculty in any discipline, plus an as-needed prerequisite session for finding funding. The 1.5-hour sessions include presentations, group discussions, take-home assignments, and peer review\/feedback of proposal drafts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested faculty members are invited to <a href=\"https:\/\/research.wsu.edu\/advancement\/training\/workshops\/fundamentals-of-grant-writing-across-disciplines\/\">submit an online application<\/a>, including a letter of support from their chair or director, by <strong>February 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of Research hosts workshops related to research development and grant seeking.
