SUMMARY:2019 New Faculty Seed Grant Q&A Session
DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn more about the 2019 New Faculty Seed Grant Program and have your questions answered. An informational session will be held on November 7th from 11:30 to 12:30pm in the Lighty 280 conference room. Register for the session below. \nThe primary goal of this program is to support junior level faculty in developing research\, scholarly\, or creative programs that have a strong potential to lead to sustained projects while enhancing opportunities for extramural funding for these projects. The program helps generate preliminary data that provides the foundation needed to submit proposals to external agencies\, and provides a means to advance complex research\, scholarly and creative activities. \nResearchers\, scholars and artists who have been appointed to a junior level faculty position no earlier than May 16\, 2015 are encouraged to apply. A total of $200\,000 has been allocated for the 2019 New Faculty Seed Grant Program. Individual grants may not exceed $25\,000 and proposals for smaller amounts are encouraged and considered equally competitive. \nA Notice of Intent (NOI) is required this year and must be submitted by 5pm December 6\, 2018 in order to be considered for this program. Late NOIs will not be accepted. \nGuidelines for applying and the application can be found at https://research.wsu.edu/advancement/documents/2018/10/new-faculty-seed-grant.doc. Questions can be directed to Emily Brashear at or.orap@wsu.edu. \nRSVP now! \n\n \n \n NFSG Notice of Intent\n \n \n Name\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email\n \n Title/Rank Employment Start Date Cost Center Region (Campus) Cost Center Hierarchy (College) Cost Center (Department/School) Research Administrator's Name Type of Proposal (choose one)Basic ResearchApplied ResearchArtsScholarshipEmphasis Area (choose one)*Agriculture SciencesArts/Fine ArtsBusinessEducationEngineeringEnvironmentHealth/Life SciencesHumanitiesMath/Computer ScienceMultidisciplinaryPhysical ScienceSocial SciencesIf Multidisciplinary state disciplines Title of Proposal* Brief description (one Word doc. page limit) of the proposed work\n Save and Continue Later\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Δ
