SUMMARY:Information Sessions: How WSU’s Social and Economic Sciences Research Center (SESRC) Supports Your Research
DESCRIPTION:Part 1: April 9\, 2026\nJoin WSU’s Social and Economic Sciences Research Center (SESRC) virtually at 2:00 p.m.\, Thursday\, April 9\, 2026\, to learn how systematic data collection supports program improvement\, accountability\, and evidence based decision making. A case study from an NSF funded center will be used to illustrate how multi year evaluation activities provide insights into engagement\, learning\, outcomes\, and community level impacts. Additionally\, the presentation will highlight other ways in which the SESRC can provide faculty assistance\, including survey design and administration\, quantitative\, qualitative\, and mixed methods research methodology\, analytical consultation\, and assistance with publications. \nPart 2: April 16\, 2026\nJoin WSU’s Social and Economic Sciences Research Center (SESRC) virtually at 2:00 p.m.\, Thursday\, April 16\, 2026\, to learn more the our expertise in survey methods\, in designing high quality surveys\, and collecting high quality survey data. The SESRC has vast experience in conducting online\, mail\, telephone\, in-person and mixed-mode surveys. The SESRC applies our expertise to meet the survey needs of WSU researchers on a wide variety of topics and survey projects\, and has been serving the WSU community for 55 years. The SESRC offers a wide variety of services including questionnaire design\, survey sampling\, data collection\, survey data analysis\, management of complex datasets\, and report writing.
